This 1925 photograph was taken at Locust Gap Colliery and shows a head frame with selfdumping cages and a mine car hoist which pulled cars to the top of the breaker where they were automatically dumped. Notice the loaded cars on the way to the top on the middle track while the empties are coming down the left track. The right track was not being used when this photo was taken.
