All Saints Catholic School Adopts Bench |

 The Student Council of All Saints Catholic School recently adopted a bench in honor of school alumni. Contact City Administrator, Tom Palamar, at 628-4417 for more information.

Alcoa Foundation Contributes To Lasting Legacy |

 Alcoa Foundation has joined the many supporters of the Pottsville Lasting Legacy Program with a $19,500 contribution for a new Yuengling Park Fence. The check was presented by Denise Stoner of Alcoa. The Lasting Legacy for Pottsville invites you to become a part of the future of Yuengling Bicentennial Park and Gardens. This park promises to be one of the most unique and enjoyable sites in the City. A gazebo, foot bridge, walking path, gardens, a water feature, history board adn game tables will make this a destination for residents and visitors alike. Opportunities are now available for individuals and groups to make this project a reality.
- A donation of $200 will purchase a tree that can be planted in the name of an individual or organization. A sign will note all tree memorials. Twenty adoption opportunities are available.
- A donation of $400 will purchase a park bench. Each bench will hold the name of the individual or organization for which the bench is dedicated. Twelve bench adoption opportunities are available.

Million Dollar Goal Exceeded |

|
|
Lasting Legacy for Pottsville and the Pottsville Bicentennial Committee announced on December 2nd at a victory meeting at the Pottsville Club that its goal to raise One Million ($1,000,000) Dollars for various Pottsville enhancements projects had been exceeded. The amount raised to date is $1,033,911.51. |
